Tridentifer
Path Of The Damned Souls
Voodoo Chamber Records CD
The band got me from the beginning and what could be sweeter than a voice of Pinhead (Hellraiser) saying “...Your suffering will be legendary. Even in hell...” This is how they have you into the band and the album and the things still going nicely dark just after that.
Tridentifer is a German old school death metal with a demo Zombified dated on 2013 and a proper first album which is out and spreading its ungodly message everywhere now.
13 songs plus one hidden track praise the old way of metal with a little crusty tuned guitars and spooky old fashioned death metal growls with its agonizing and demonic shades here and there. Guitarists Marco, Tobi and drummer Heiko have always some creepy and morbid ideas towards the end of the CD. You may like a sound of torture chambers with vintage machines as those feasted upon the pain of the victims, a way centuries ago. Album is like a walk with a candle in your hand throughout haunted cellars and attics of abandoned mansions and you never know when something jumps out right on you. The front B/W cover is accurately taken to the album but sadly lyrics pages never been a target here and I persuade you that I would like it handy together with CD to read. That`s I`d expect from debut album and serious band, at least.
Path of the damned souls also elements some doom-y and krushing heavy moments that torment you upon your filthy desires and afterwards...devoted to the band, you dare asking for more. I luv this songs for having primeval atmosphere and tyranny of old death metal album as it should be done and presented musically. I have no idea what that could be but I feel totally released as somehow, this band killz that annoying part of yours that nobody wishes to have sometimes, you know...
Fans of Throneum, Asphyx, Purtenance raise your flags with Tridentifer name on it. They are coming...
