Unusual Methods To Dismember The Spiritual Halo

This Spanish duo recorded one of those albums that use studio technology to dehumanize music and create quite confusing, cold alienated sounds.
Even if they opened the album with very good, disturbing, industrial song, it is not really an answer and huge connection to the rest tracks of the album. With very strange offerings like those 13 songs, it`s better to use simple words to describe it. First of all, they experiment with music a lot. They use samplers, synthesizers and I do not think you could face it at once because they deny what`s normal in music and eventually, persevere to seek what`s unreal.
This is definitely experimental black, death metal but your senses are often under attack of something strange that is underneath the music. Distortions of instruments perhaps or intensity of events that happen to music many times are tense. Whichever comes first, it`s good for entertaining and earns some points for my positive reception I have for the album.
They have a little pitched death metal vocals that fits more to slam death metal band which was my first impression. I used to this type of singing after few songs have gone but still, they seem to be all over the place if I look from music perspective. Black metal vocals they have are harassing and in most songs they play like sick version of Dark Throne and Meyhem which do sort of disorder to music while you are listening. Voices in Thoughts Through Ethic are demonic, like possessions of Reagan from the Exorcist. Their clean and haunted black metal vocals are most welcome to hear.
If you can remember split album of Atrocity/Das Ich and you think about their album Blut then some elements (Snake Eyes In Euphoria, Rapture In Grey) are there in music but on underground level. Also the album in some parts is like cyber version of Norwegian black metal which is quite extreme and interesting. A few final songs are much more atmospheric but always strange and industrialized.
Unusual Methods To Dismember The Spiritual Halo sounds very minimalistic, not the best but I have no trouble to understand their message and music. I sympathize with everything what`s weird in music and this band just breeds tunes like that. Even, under average production and few imperfections in mixing, nothing really can stop me from liking this album.
