Symetria
The Sleeper Has Awakened
Independent
A debut material from Symetria, over ten minutes of metal, what can be better to let people know about the new Polish band?... I think EP like this one is just perfect to put the band`s name in the air, to conquer music media and fans.
The key word for their music is: HEAVY! Songs have a semi-melodic, rhythmic guitar patterns which is to like. Songs are groovy, with many guitar breakdowns (crushing!), a few drilling death metal shreds, also small dose of guitar tapping which I think always work best in death metal. Band has slight thrash metal influences which are guitar dynamics, brutal death/core ingredient is in the music as well, but also in low-growling vocals which sound like a roars of a hungry lion which is quite good.
I think the best description of Symetria's music at this point is groove death metal, which on this EP is starting to take shape...
