Stonerror
Rattlesnake Moan
My Shit In Your Coffee
It feels just right to have other tunes than metal to write a little about and if someone accuses me for betraying metal then yes, we do... But like ever? Of course not. Just now and maybe few more times if we have such records going on to us. OK.
For sake to experience other music realms out there, bands like Stonerror opens my imaginary to another level and give opportunity to take happiness for granted, not just delusional possibility.
You should agree with me when I`m writing that cover art to the album is just over the top and one of the best I`v seen for a long, long time. I have heard the band saying it was Brazilian model that made a photo shoot but as pretty as she maybe is, the concept of this artwork is just outstanding and ethereal. No question about that.
It is not an error that stoner fits this band perfectly. A song like Jericho with trance driving bass and -from calm to desperate- vocals do nothing but good for a listener. Distorted guitar with no intention to compose any flawless rhythm creates a psychedelic smoke as one of the Beatles song which is next one of the EP called Tomorrow Never Knows. The band continues with very cool lyrics in S/T song and vocalist is doing his parts quite good I can say already. Bass seems to maintain everything this band does but it`s not bad at all. I like it when that symbiosis with guitarist is invincible and harmless to music and they just contemplate efforts to best effect they can figure out. There are incredible melodies in Wrath and music getting much heavier and condense from this point on. A singer shows how great he can go with his voice again, how to put it technically right and share it successively. There is still a room for improvement you can believe. And final track entitled Zombie Train is faster and angrier and I also found it as good formula for the band. Stonerror are bunch of awesome musicians and they use it for chemistry of the music and I really want it more in the future. Bravo.
