Stealth Bomber
First Strike From Above
Independent
4 songs on this EP have very little to do with modern sounding thrash metal. Instead, a rough sound of the band is a fit for the character of their music. Stealth Bomber plays aggressive old school thrash metal that does not need to shine through great studio production to be good. Expect fast guitar shredding and mind that band`s rhythm section is sharp, dynamic and very in your face. Both guitarists (Bini and Damian) have similar style of playing on guitar to Mike from Destruction, especially when the pace of the songs is fast. Thanks that, the songs sound spontaneous, creative and music is reaching its critical points more often so you know it`s thrash metal record. My imagination does not get stuck only in one or two moments of the EP. Actually, all tracks are pretty good, not complex but simply catchy and underneath, they sometimes sound like crossover thrash band which is a positive variety.
They have a charismatic vocalist with raging voice who helps it all to sound more deadly and sometimes he uses massive death metal vocals to sing song titles (Rock Monster...). I think the most and super aggressive track of theirs is Killed Or Be Killed which is a very ferocious song and war stands here as a subject of lyrical content, which always has been quite explored and appreciated theme in thrash metal community. Demon Speed is their heaviest and slowest song, riffs tend to be more memorable but I prefer Stealth Bomber when they are playing fast... Vocals in this song sound as usual, maybe more wicked in some final parts of the track but still very cool , hellish and thrashy. It's not just a slow song. Several times the band's demon had to take control of what comes from playing fast and the result is speed which is what Stealth Bomber needs the most in their songs, without a doubt.
It`s imperfectly sounding record, but it`s a thrash metal blitzkrieg and it`s good!
