Sleazy Way Out
Here Comes Trouble
Sliptrick Records
It is nice to listen to a bitching life stories from Stacey Sleaze, the vocalist of the band, who sometimes sounds like he is under the influence of ...Or as if he just saw a bottom-top tattooed girl who did not let him concentrate and sing better. No, of course, I'm joking here, the singer's voice sounds a bit like a spoiled teenager here but, actually it`s really adorable!
This record feels like a fun first. In the second place is getting funnier with all that “take it easy” kind of laid down lyrics. Yes, I know, I am being silly and I just waste my time here, but when listen to band like Sleazy Way Out, seem that they want to waste your time too, so everybody are happy for a good cause – and you know it`s all about rock`n`roll!
Songs are usually build of vocal verses, melodic choruses, cooling guitar solos and simplified riffs, also totally basic drumming. The album sounds like it was recorded in a garage, but in fact, it`s studio made record, in our times which, does not change a thing that the character of music and production is like throwback to 80`s obscure sound and careless song-writing.
„...Satisfaction guaranteed...”
I don't pay attention to any details in music of this band, all members deliver songs so easy that you are about getting a joyful mood from them at its quickest and, it happens every time a new tune kicks in...
Rriffs/vibes? Here they go...Goin ’Down - Def Leppard/Kiss, Waste of Time – some Judas Priest ... Of other songs I personally like, these are dynamic Bitchin Honey, a track that opens the album; Not Gonna Be There, Perfect Crime has a solid rock riffs and you know at once it`s gonna be a very good track after you hear first guitar riffs, punk/rock song is Ya Got Me Runnin...
In general, the album has a sleazy hard & heavy metal songs, equally good I would say and, you just do not know which tune will hits you tomorrow if it didn't happen today. I enjoy music of this album!
