This is re-edition of 1999 album with no extra tracks and no re-mastering has been done for this release. It`s pretty much raw, the same old record that you could hear 2 decades ago. The album was long time sold out, so, it`s time for a version of the record with cool, new artwork.
10 songs of uncompromising death / grind from the 90s is a blow to my ears and my 5.1 speakers. Yes, listening to music on home cinema system is much better experience than on standard hi-fi equipment! Especially, when dealing with such brutal album as They Die For Nothing. The songs are very tight composed, with multi-millions blast beats, slaughtering riffs –expect no mercy for you before you die! I was very much into 90`s Polish scene and searched its underground for new bands and if you had too, then, you should find this album much in the vein of Squash Bowels, Damnable, Aberration, Rotting Head with strong New Yorker edge of VERY early Suffocation albums. So, hell yeah – you know that severe brutality on this record prevails. Of course they do not disappoint when comes to vocals which are sick variations of piggy-gurgling growls, for you pleasure distastes (see song titles).
They Die For Nothing is closer to brutal death metal that their new album Breeding Hate (Deformeathing Productions) which is more grind/death. And no brainer – from bottom of my heart, I know that They Die For Nothing is a better album.
