Reinfection
Breeding Hate
Deformeathing Production
Reinfection is back with a new material after long absence. It`s the band that have made their name in Polish underground already few decades ago by releasing some most brutal albums, demos, EP`s in Poland and North America. Personally, I remember them from demo The Edge Of Her Existence from 1998. Nothing really has changed since old times when comes to Breeding Hate. Album is vile and repulsive and sound a bit like a production of the album went on with arguable quality, but they have pushed it to land in the final release. The production seems under-done but I do not think it makes me think badly about what they have to offer noizz-sic-ally. It`s just little unexpected that they sound like they stuck in 90`s. If compare Breeding Hate to other bands from this label like; Straight Hate, Squash Bowels or Bottom - they all have better sound of their albums.
Reinfection on this record is what to be expected from them. They represent apogee of extreme grind brutality which are fast and mind-butchering pieces of music that you can hear all over the album. More death metal influences you can find in slower moments/tracks. The songs are basically ultra-fast or not that fast or they just getting some adrenaline rush in mid-paced tempos. The thing is, they are effectively grinding and infecting your brain-cells by very hideously sounding, gory songs. You know, you get what you hear which are neck-breaking blast beats, inhumanly expressed growls or/and screams that they perform upon brutal guitar riffs which perhaps meets borders of music extremity, just not like in overall meaning. This album is just radically crude. Tracks from 1 to 8 are essentially death/grind songs, and some leaning strongly towards grind, while the other ones, go more into brutal death metal or the band just mix it all together, without any surprises at all. A ninth track is more experimental - industrial grind, with weird arrangements on guitars in general and I actually find this odd track OK for me, which is also the one that ends this 27 minutes long record. Other sick songs: 2,4,6. This is basically rough and brutal album, only for tough people.
