Rainbow Bridge
Lama
Independent
They opens with instrumental track Lama. Band`s rhythm section (drums and bass) sounds incredibly good with their 70`s blues heavy desert rock music approach. Lot of guitar solos here sound awesome, there are no constant guitar leads in this track whatsoever but a feeling of the music itself, improvisations, no linear way of composing the song by them makes music unpredictable and superb interesting. Guitarist for Rainbow Bridge – Giuseppe JimiRay Piazzolla is a real deal and talented player. Quite often, he goes really crazy on guitar, releasing himself completely as a composer. You have to listen to The Storm is Over. Guitar improvisations there are not from this planet, really fantastic. For the first time in this track, you can also hear Giuseppe`s extraordinary vocal abilities. His vocals are probably reminiscence of classic British rock/metal singers and perhaps Geddy Lee (Rush) too. So, he unveils himself as a very good singer besides being incredible guitarists.
The other track like Words has a solid guitar leads and even more persuasive vocals. Spit Jam is a short instrumental nod toward Black Sabbath with here and there famous riff in...No More I`ll Be Back and Day After Day are long, colossal songs with melodic and atmospheric vocals. Slower built up in these tracks lead them to more trance & hypnotizing rhythms. And there could be no different, they play many instrumental improvisations that involve various bass (Fabio Chiarazzo) and guitars sound distortions. Holy smoke, this band makes dirt and fuzz all over the album which make them sound like Rainbow Bridge - quite the band that I did not expected them to be. Paolo Ormas who also plays in the band A Violet Pine, is hitting the drums strong and loud to make sure that he nails your attention to this album. By taking all these elements under consideration, Rainbow Bridge creates over the top, heavy rock blues songs which are soul-filled by personalities of their creators. They give 100% of themselves for the band and production wise, they sound very professional.
If you like Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Stonerror, Jimi Hendrix, but also modern stoner bands in general, Rainbow Bridge is either way the band for you. Great dudes, talented band, check it out.

Words EP
Independent
Words (released in August 2018) is basically an EP that was promoting the upcoming album Lama (out in September 2018) – review above. The band took different take on both Words tracks which one of them is included on this EP and the other one is on the track list of Lama album. What the EP has and the album has not is a song Are You EXP which is a live studio jam session where the band had fun by playing some Jimi Hendrix and The Beatles in between tunes...
