Nuclear Holocaust
The Book Of Doom
Defense/Mythrone Promotion
It`s a compilation album of two materials coming from a different periods of times. Part one of the album are tracks 1-8, recorded in 2019. Rest of the songs are result of 2017 studio session which are tracks 9-16 that complete part two of this release. Second part was already released by Nuclear Holocaust (Pol) on the split with Brazilian band Expurgo (MyThrone Promotion has had participated in releasing that 2019 split too). The Book Of Doom has two covers; the one that you can see at front, and the other one that you cannot see now, is in a CD booklet which is more relevant to songs from the second part of the compilation and I like this cover art better.
What you can hear are grind core songs with sickly distorted bass, extreme vocals (more growls), very fast drumming and brutally grinding guitar noizz. Particularly first part of the album is more infernal, violent and disruptive but with heavier music periods as well. They are more down tuned (gorier) in the first part.
Instruments in second part are delivered with higher, more pitched sound, some vocals too. Songs are even faster that before and still brutal but more chaotic. There are more harsher and noizy vocals here than growls while drumming is faster and production to it is louder. Grind core here has more punk influences, some classic grind core feel to their songs if you will. Of what is going on in their music here, you could compare it to a war bombing. The length of the song on this album is never more than three minutes, so your punishment will be short.
In the vein of Dead Infection, Straight Hate, Top Sekret, Amoclen, Repulsion, Insistent...
