Towards Hellfire was found at the begining of 2021 by R. and two other persons, which are not involved into the band anymore.
Later this year P. and D. joined this project to create something, which is not similar at all to the music they used to play in their main bands. During the creation process of "Death Upon The Holy Throne", Towards Hellfire became a regular band, not just a next side project of its members.
The idea of this record is to hail Satan, Death and Apocalypse being armed in Black Metal, which is not even close to the modern sound and trends, but with some dose of melodic and monumental elements as well.
"Death Upon The Holy Throne" was recorded in Września&Poznań between November and December 2022 by Aleksander Wereczyński (ex-Martwa Aura).
Mixed and mastered in Olsztyn in January 2023 by Michał Grabowski who cooperated in the past with Christ Agony, Feto in Fetus and Warfist.
Cover artwork and band logo were created by Robert A. Von Ritter (In Twilight's Embrace, Outre, Owls Woods Graves).
