MurderWorker
No Divine Signs
Base Record Production
I know the music of the band since 2018. After previous very good album called When The Scream Becomes Silence the band just came up with this 3 songs EP.
They play in the vein of Scandinavian death metal, more precisely, Swedish old school death metal but in fact, they are based in Spain, in case you do not know.
First song is an instrumental track, but no sweetness in it - there are few atmospheric keyboard moments and then straight death metal which just introduce what is inevitable...Yes (!) more old school death metal.
Second song is already with vocals - 2 way-growls. Drummer plays old school, sound remind times between Nihilist and Left Hand Path by Entombed so it has characteristic and famous studio production a`la Sunlight studio. Riffs are simple solid, also heavy and melodic but kind of similar to those from intro song.
The Hunt Continues (Buried Alive) is a bit faster, bass sounds oh...fucking crushing, love it. The best thing in this track is a leading riff, nicely highlighted by the band at 2:45mins. Crusty guitar sound is just...you know... I can listen to things like that over and over again and never get bored by it.
MurderWorker does not fails with their new EP!
