Mnemocide
Debris
Independent
It`s never too much music from Switzerland which is where this band comes from. It`s their 4 tracks debut EP and there is everything in this music to make my day.
Debris has powerful sound, cantered around old and new school of death metal that stands out.
There are few elements that are very good in this band. They play at least one or two catchy riffs, in every song, that radiate a good vibes toward me and believe or not, there is nothing that you would not like to hear. They also have prepared very interesting music ground to the vocalist so he can freely sings some refrains to his lyrics with type of guttural growls. With all this, the songs sound heavy, have a lot of groove, very strong guitar rhythms and little death metal- industrial twist; but not too much. The songs are energetic, not too fast, and it`s perfectly anticipated music material which arguably sounds pretty original. Mnemocide is a band that made right choices to balance all melodic dynamics with some brutality what I consider to be their unique ability. The instrumental-vocal ideas are very cool which could change the mood and how you may feel about certain music on this EP. Basically, I feel am being fortressed by heavy sound of this record and music in general.
I do not know if there is anything else that I would need to sense and experience music differently... For now, I do not think it`s necessary because Debris has music integration, and a lot of strong points, enough to kick your ass.
Line up:
Matthias - Vocals
Laurent - Drums
Richy - Guitar
Chris - Guitar
Denge – Bass
Tracklist:
1 Only Shades 06:21
2 Pawns 03:38
