Mad Symphony

On today's cloudy day in Poland, I listen to a Canadian band that plays melodic glammy hard rock songs with melodic pop vocals and choruses. In the core, they play simple tunes to make your day flows fine, but when keyboards are turn on Mad Symphony sounds more progressive. In track Do It All over again you get a feel of Hammond sound, which always turns time machine in my head and I start to think about 70`s era in music. Song Next Door has catchy refrains and most of vocals while keyboards sound more symphonic, like in Dream Theater. It`s very good track, for fans of Bon Jovi and such bands. You can play every song on this record on radio and listeners won`t be dissapointed. Another hit song is Sell Me Out with fantastic guitar solo, beautiful melodies, you know - they would open up for Aerosmith...More guitar driven song is Nothin` but keyboardists when takes control, he gets all attention by his diverse play (country and progressive influences). Great tune is Bittersweet Bye Bye - I think the most progressive song of the record, harder on guitars and bass and louder on vocals. They sound cute when playing acoustic, melodies are great, lyrics are bitter and nostalgic. Yeah, Mad Symphony made my day, make yours if you dare.
