Ukraine is a country known for uncompromising black metal bands and Lava Invocator is representing that region without regrets to what already have been done in a genre. I mention it because Mork is the album I will compare to other bands because they sound like many of them. However, their music reaches the level where I have no trouble to enjoy the ferocity of their songs. They chose to sound in tradition of Norwegian and Swedish black metal with high pitched vocals and harsh guitars. Fast songs can be easily comparable to Marduk and Gorgoroth when drumming is like a call to the Third World War. Lava Invocator plays merciless and ruthless black metal but have slower and atmospheric moments where they sound like Besatt or Satyricon, more melodic. Nothing I haven`t heard before but when there is a time I need assault aimed on my mind in order to assimilate a beast for better days, then the album like Mork is better than any medicine. I always find a wild pleasure in albums with rasp sounding guitars that only purpose is music annihilation and destruction. With some chaotic solos along, their arsenal of arrangements, makes this album, no more but good black metal art.
