Invocation Spells
Unholy Blasphemies
Defense/Mythrone Promotion
This time, I think it`s better idea to write briefly of what this album is about. Songs of the band are pure satanic manifestation as the form of completely evil metal songs - filthy, abhorrent black thrash style. Death, wrath, blasphemy and pure mayhem roll from hell and it`s all what circle in band lyrics and in sound of Unholy Blasphemies.
Album`s production is alike demo tape - a fucking chaos and Armageddon. Darkness spreads its vermin and death through music and words of Invocation Spells, as plague upon the Earth. It`s South American band and Chile is one of those craziest-hottest places on our planet - you can literally sense that temperature of the songs increases, minute by minute. Those mother-fuckers love to play satanic metal and the feel of burning fire that devours their skins while they spread their black/thrash metal filth and ugly-shitty sound. It`s constant. Satan makes them do it! You can whether like or hate what this album represents, it`s up to you. For me, Unholy Blasphemies has cleansing abilities; music of the band is like nirvana of my spirit, a rebirth of mind-state in which I can find a piece while the music is a total war.
Along with South American ghosts that go with music spirit of the band, songs have some influences that I can recognize from other bands like Possessed, first Bathory album, old Sodom, Hellhammer, Sarcofago, first Slayer, Necrophobic - Feeling of Agony – you know, all those bands that sound very obscure. There is no reasoning to say anymore, whether it was more influence from black, death or thrash metal that has driven Invocation Spells to final version of their songs. Whatever it was, this album is fire! Cleanse yourself with it.
