Inhumanity Vortex
Reverse Engineering
Independent
Inhumanity Vortex (death metal project from Poland) was previously known as Inhumanity (one man band - few demos and compilation were released between 2009 and 2015). Reverse Engineering was already recorded by 5 band members, mixes and mastering took place in studio Hertz (Vader, Trauma...).
This mini-album premiere this month, it consists of progressive death metal songs - very intense, brutal, technical and groovy. First thing that comes to mind as comparisons are bands Kinestence, Pestilence and album“Spheres”, as well as latter era of this band. Twisted and some discordant riffs are mixed with death metal that sound like a havoc is imminent. Death metal breakdowns, tight guitar riffs and plenty of music ideas are being played on quite a speed by the band. Inhumanity Vortex uses futuristically sounding electronic or guitar effects, but not too much, just short, robotic or weird sonic bursts added to the sound. Pulverizing vocals are as brutal as music itself; expect everything but brutality and technical intelligence in songs of the band. Lyrical content of Reverse Engineering touches dystopian and sci-fi themes.
Certainly, musical taste of the band is close to mine on this mini album. Songs have a nostalgia of 90`s death metal, which they connect to death metal of our times.
Inhumanity Vortex shows a quite musical potential and very well performed songs on this record - a first class technical/progressive death metal, check them out.
