It was not surprise to find out that somewhere in Chicago there is a precious population of Polish citizens that set their legacy and spread the word through one of the most bestial and devastating form of music DEATH METAL. Those gents have been more or less known for being in other Polish bands but I leave you that knowledge to discover so you can catch up with a band and their music intimacy digging their info pages.
Worship Of Anxiety is a CD release with 7 tracks on it and extremely efficient booklet with lyrics. Simple-catching attention arts (inside back cover with Stielhandgranate from second World War for example. Isn`t that the heart bell of the Antichrist on the front cover(?)) are very cool. Almost black and white background to the whole layout is exceptional and fits to atmosphere of the songs that are about to come...
...Hellwaffe is ugly in lyrics, dirty in sound, punching Christianity in a face. Their music is fast with drum blasts and they are spreading warm words in retaliation against mindful fanatic-religious people. They are also evil sounding as they have incorporated some mechanisms of death metal persuasion like slow-paced, merciless very heavy sort of riffs. Their metal is dark, infernal in every track. There is no space for anything but brutality and blasphemy. They are old school and not innovators by any meaning but this is what they are and this is Hellwaffe. They have some ceremonial invocations put in songs and it powers its records integrity even stronger. Vocals just strike in good, old fashion way.This is most extreme and invidious piece of black death metal and they take you every breath on this records to prove themselves.
All recording process took a place in both US and Poland studios and they have done it just hideous as they could.
If you ever been or you are around bands like Usurper, Damnation(PL), you will know what to expect. I also am pretty sure they want you to realize that the only enemy this world still concerns is any kind of religion. Even if they feed on religion beliefs, they want you to punish it and erase from humanity to achieve greatest goodness for yourself, not false none existing gods.
