Freakings
Rise Of Violence
Independent
I was expecting to hear a decent album from these Swiss thrashers, but I couldn't know that new songs would hit me to the center of the earth. First of all, the production of this album is excellent and musically, the band aims for global destruction.
Second - facts:
-Album is extremely aggressive in the best sense of the word (you want to hear it so you can`t resist it).
-Freaking plays original combination of Exodus and Destruction riffs which means a lot of firepower on guitars and fresh music quality.
-The album title 100% reflects what happens in all songs of this release. The music is super violent (and violence rises with each minute). Band`s performance is finesse. A level of adrenaline and aggression is strongly above average.
-Freakings plays incredibly fast. When I thought they couldn't play faster, next minutes quickly proved me wrong.
- This album has so much energy and rage that it could be divided into several other albums. Plus for Freakings that they only made it in one.
- The songs are very tightly composed, the drummer must quickly fit into the guitarist sequences, and the singer does not have much time to sing melodiously, so, his screams is all what you have to be content with .
-The music on the record is destined for circle pit and be aware if you are around when they will play those songs for you live.
- The album is a collision with most punishing riffs that I've heard for some time.
Verdict:
Rise Of Violence is a great European thrash metal album that doesn't sound innovative!
