Fear Of Blood is a band with underground status, still with just few EP`s, not full length albums etc. They are based in Gdansk/Poland but do not fool yourself thinking they sound anything like Behemoth because they are not. Snake and pentagram that you can see on the cover is not saying they are black metal band, I can hardly smell it. It is more lyrical content what`s make me think about anything black metal in this band, if that`s OK to put it this way.. Fear Of Blood has interesting, mind stimulating texts and it is something you could be interested to read about, if you willing to. Vocals are quite important here, a certainty of the band. They whisper a bit, also have death metal vocals with techniques similar to Jan-Chris de Koeijer (Gorefest) but they do not growl so deep like him, for sure. Their decent, clean vocals have fine patterns and those are very OK for me to hear.
I am not quite convinced to their music as yet. They still try to find their style, something I could say is very theirs, in music. In those 3 songs they have elements of death, thrash and post metal but music is still a bit inconsistent. The sound is flat, under the budget but OK as for newcomer band that need to mark their name on the map. I am a little critical for them this time but on the other hand, they have potential that just did not showed me yet.
