Fabiano Andreacchio
Living Dead Groove
Sliptrick Records
I have counted 5 more bands Fabiano is a part of but none of those like Prescription Happiness, Rox I have heard about so far. I want to check those ones out at some point because Living Dead Groove is a type of twisted album I really wanted to hear for long time. By twisted I mean the one I find very challenging to hear but not having trouble to adapt with.
This album is a mix of weird sounds, coming from metal, techno, jazz, hard core, cold industrial and even disco that connecting everything into one form. A spectrum of different music influences is really impressive here. There are tons of sampler experiments, keyboards&synths distortions. This is partly metal album but also has that hand of DJ who makes his freaking live show tricks on his turntable, you can imagine. The songs are not giving me anything obvious and predictable of what could next track be like. Fabiano is an author of all songs and play on every instruments with a help of other musicians from Atomic Factory and others who are involved in process of recording. However, I rather think about it like his solo album and it`s a great one.
He is twisting his songs so amazing that I feel I have most of my favourite artist in one place basically. This hybrid album has some similarities from Fear Factory, Rob Zombie, Reverend Hellbastard, Marilyn Mason, Rammstein albums and it`s like hell yeah! This is for me! It`s happening, he has done it!
It`s not like normal structured kind of music you are probably used to but Living Dead Groove is so adorable and entertaining that nothing else matters and there should be no barriers in music, right?
All Fabiano` songs (except one) are his own creations and believe me you want to hear that incredible work of guitars, bass, drums arrangements and over the top vocals from him. Cover of Smell Like A Corpse (nice play of words) by Nirvana is as fantastic as his original songs but re-arranged to fits the character of this album and I find it awesome. The way this project synchronize totally opposite genres so everything make sense, astonishes me the most and I highly appreciate it
The whole thing was recorded in home studio and production is much better that I could expect so buy your copy somewhere if you do not want to miss a great album in your collection.
