Empyreal Vault
Judgement
Great Dane Records

Picture
New album by Empyreal Vault is a treat for fans of technical death metal and death core. They like to structure their music and throw as  many riffs as possible into their music-writing (Apocalypse, Transcendence). The Judgement and The Giant Tree are fast and intricate tracks with technical riffs but with fine, groove death metal fragments. Suffering sounds super futuristic with programming and clean vocals, it`s still heavy and diverse death metal song, however atmospheric at times. Fast guitar picking feature many times on the album, song War is one of them, beside there are also many crushing riffs tracked down by the band. I like bass tuning in their songs, sounds very metallic and aggressive. Drummer performs blast beats, double-bass, he delivers technicality, and just everything what can be heard in death metal in general, is consisted in his play. Call Of Yggdrasil is intense death metal (also, slower guitar moments with fast drumming sound good) with many guitar break-downs and technical sequences. A guest female vocals in the song- symphonic/opera metal style, it works great with the death metal of this French band.

Check out Judgement - technical death metal with thrills.
