Centrate
Tiger Force
Independent CD
And the world is much better place with music storms that bands like Centrate delivers. Germany brings another thrash band that has opportunity to make their name, not only in their country but beyond. I am a person that would like to be there and watch them grow as a band, hopefully. I wish to see much more excellent bands out of Germany visiting Poland to play some concert venues as you may know with hordes like Kreator, Destruction and youngers as Messerschmitt, Warfield. They all are able to unleash hell and that adrenaline kick is exactly needed to the scene. I can`t explain why much more gigs takes no places but hope it is going to change soon. I certainly would go and see Centrate if they play in Krakow area as well so this is obviously big question mark for promoters to support young artists.
Anyway, debut EP consist 4 songs of thrash metal and what`s important they are lucky to have a very good vocalist with clean-harsh vocals and my appreciations always going to people like Niki because singing is still a big thing in metal and everyone who can handle it, deserves a fine words.
Those songs have cold, fast guitar works along with choruses making their metal more devastating. Many parts with aggressive riffs as well as melodic ones, fill up symbiosis of their tracks. They still leave no mercy to even think about compromising the music as they are straight forward thrash band and they sound best like that. Also, they have some interesting build-up song structures which I like in Megadeth, for example. One exception is closing track Corruption which is more Machine Head oriented and that`s OK for variety of the CD.
It does not feel they can level music up that high for now but I am gladl to hear they have that force that could possibly drive them to reach that goal if they put some hard work on even better musicianship. They seem to have strong matal foundations as a band and they are crew of promising instrumentalists which guitarists are quite vital here. This EP and their music proofs they can thrash on pretty solid metal songs and all of them are integral in sound they create. When I think about each song individually then it becomes obvious for me that Centrate keeps music diverse.
Most definitely you should check this band out and give them your support.
The band is:
Niki-vocals
Marcel-bass
Chris-guitar
Tobi-guitar
Manu-drums
Thanks for signing the album by whole band.
