Dynamite
Ossuary Records
Ossuary Records has opened their roster for bands outside Poland. Nice! Bulletproof is firing their cannons from Argentina - are they trying to conquer the world(?). I do not know about that just yet, but they may have their times to come, because opening song might sounds familiar for European audiences. If you like super melodic, a little fast heavy metal in the vein of Sabaton, you might just read the right review...
If that interested you (I am certainly into it), then the song Dynamite can warm your metal heart properly. Vocalist all the time keeps it melodic, choruses are dynamic and sang out loudly. Guitarists play some ordinary power chords in mid-tempos, here and there like an older Judas Priest. It simply does the job, and so true - it is damn good dynamite track!
Song by song, the band slows down a bit, and Flag of Freedom is one of the best track off the EP. Riffs are super catchy and heavy like a thunder clap. Atmosphere of the song reminds me Manowar and Running Wild, music is pretty much going into those bombastic, anthemic and warrior heavy metal areas that I have always liked it in this genre.
Fist Pounding is more old school hard rock/heavy metal, pretty much radio song to get more thumbs up or whatever. Singer is on spotlight, lyrics are bit cheesy (...I want to see your fist pounding...) and guitars little glam metal but it`s perfectly fine with me...
And again, Feel the Heat sounds like a 80/90 heavy metal, . This times guitar riffs are equally catchy as vocals and they just do not give up on melodies at all in this song (not that they had even tried in other tracks either). Not that much European bands can play so melodic for most time in their songs as Bulletproof does. I just has to write that Dynamite is a warm heavy metal record, this song is even like a tribute to the genre alone. They refreshing a formula of heavy metal here , although I feel strongly that their wheel is turning totally in the right direction. So, not bad record at all!
