Brud
Cannibal Cops
More Hate Productions
It`s Brud`s 2019 re-mastered edition of the album released by More Hate Productions. Cannibal Cops was first time released in 2013 independently. Brud means Dirt in English and here you have it, a grind gore crust band from Ukraine which has humorous titles for their songs.
Album consists of 14 brutal tracks and if you are into this style of music you won`t regret it if you let Brud to slaughter your ears in next 27 minutes. Album has all standard elements that this music genre should have. Vomiting, guttural, gurgling, piggy, punky, disgusting, pulverizing and whatever else vocals are in there, you possibly will hear it on this album. Like technical drumming here, a high tuning of drums and bass into band`s sound sharpens the grinding music style of the band while album production is clean. There are songs here with melo-brutal guitar rhythms which can force you to dance crazy in nearby mosh-pit or the one you create at home. Some tracks here destroy with blast beats, guitar heaviness or by intricate drumming. Still, I think the band does not want to repeat their music ideas that much, so, there are some slightly technical moments in songs, or quite in opposite - more straight punky-grind tracks which are approached more simplistically by band members. There are heavy crusty and groovy sounding guitars , and those very fast tracks, causing a ground-shake under your feet if your volume is set right up. This album should apply to senses of grind core fans whose want to be punished by severe music brutality. It`s kind of -“like in a book” grind core record where those 27 minutes of music are gone very quickly. They do not deliver absurdly basic songs here, certainly they put some brains into song writing, so this album has, let`s say...intelligent, easy digestible music, and Brud is good at what they do with their own grind core songs, I enjoy it.
