Banisher
Oniric Delusions
Deformeathing Records
Every three years there is a new album out from Polish Banisher. If it`s all it takes to write another strong opus like Oniric Delusions then everything should be justified thanks to this album. Hearing how fast this band grows their strength in death metal and watching their other activities with other bands is encouraging for me as a reviewer. To my knowledge they have recorded this album only as a trio and these are guys involved in: Hubert Wiecek (guitars, bass) who is currently part of Decapitated. A vocalist Szczepan Inglot is a member of amazing band Shodan. Drumming is a department of Jacek Gut. This is about, how gaining experience, 3 musicians can commit such killer sounding album like Oniric Delusions.
Album holds just 7 songs ready to blow your speakers up but I want to ensure you, it`s all you need to have another shitty day off your ass.
In this part of the world some people say it`s perfect to have album like this one from Banisher and they are on right direction. The others say this is perfect album and they are doubtful to have another one from them. In third option the band could say it`s their perfect album which become utopian because they do not believe they can ever do better than that. I want to think about Banisher like a band chasing perfection in music so they always have a choice to do it better and better every time eventually and not just once in lifetime.
Oniric Delusion have all songs leveled up really high instrumentally and it`s not just fury and precision so magnificent in their music but the way they change a pace and song structures is flawless. They have quite few fantastic guitar harmonies which is very catchy on the battleground of brutal death metal as well. Intensity of the music is consistent and even in slower fragments, oh goodness me, they wave so much havoc. Execution of vocals is over the top and better check out those guys. They are one of the best in technical death metal wherever on the map you want to see them.
