In countries like Poland, Slovakia and Czech Republic grind core was always a supreme but not much serious genre of music which involves countless number of bands. It`s not surprise at all that another filth spreading band with medical related themes is going to infect your hearing senses with illness and silliness. As it can be seen on front cover, a guy who is making surgery on himself is a proof that human imagination has no boundaries and can go beyond everything that seems unimaginable. But to be clear, this release, musically is just a grind core record but at the same time, it`s just what fans of the genre need.
Amoclen comes from Czech Republic. This album consists of 14 tracks and time they needed to reload between songs is never longer than 2-3 minutes or shorter. It gives almost 21 minutes of power grind core in total. Sound, mixes and overall production is very good, so all what`s left to do is to listen to the music.
The band has two types of vocals; screams (better) and low tune growls (still good). Music is mostly fast with chop-chop-pounding drums and brisk guitar rhythms. When it needs to be heavier they slow down pace for a bit and you got it; mix of speed (most of time) with few hammering moments (not that often) and with minor twists in arrangements. Amoclen have done a cover of the band Lunetic which song is called At Je Hudba Tvuj Lek. I have to admit that there is a nice melodic rhythm in this track, except they just go crazy with this and other songs just as grind core should go, to grab you for a guts.
All righty, I think, here you can have a good sounding, extreme record that you should check out.
