Abhordium
Omega Prayer
Independent
It`s been about seven years since Abhordium released their debute When Depravity Incarnates in 2011. I know nothing and heard nothing about that album but their new opus Omega Preyer is a beast of death metal. It`s darkened, 8 tracks album with very sinister, death and black metal songs. They mix these both genres the way most of you worshipers of blackened death metal should be interested to hear. I can approve them as a good band for you, surely.
They definitely have my attention because their songs are hellish and relentless with many blast beats and have diabolical, hideous vocals and they just terrorizing my senses of good taste. Lots of shreds and guitar rhythms sound devilish and have something demonic altogether. This album has a gravitating, dark energy and few highly desired vocal choirs and choruses which make good balance and contrast to those chaotic parts of their music. . Either way, when they prefer go fast or more atmospheric with songs, they always keep quality and performance of the entire album on good level. I would not say Omega Prayer is very original release but sometimes hearing vicious and dark metal music as this album is pretty much what I need in my momentum.
Abhordium has some influences from Azarath, Behemoth, Belphegor but despite any similarities, it`s very solid full length and this fact can`t be taken from them.
The other, very important thing is their sound. They compromised it with great intuition and tuned the sound with depth of death and black metal like it was one genre. It`s really good job they have done with mixes and production of this album which automatically faced their music appropriately dark and ferocious in final stage. You can hear it now on the CD and digital formats with unholy blessings and recommendations upon this album.
