Freiheit
Безумие. Ненависть. Смерть

Freiheit is a very young Russian band and actually, I can sense it`s the beginning of their journey from their music, that is not quite established yet. I would say it is very death metal album at first, on the field of drumming and guitars. They tend to seek for brutal music expressions with just a bit of technicality to instruments they play. Vocals are both death and black metal, brutal and aggressive. Very typical but at least, sounds just like vocals on extreme record often do.
The album has some black metal influences as it appears from time to time. A song number five is best example of death metal that blends grim black metal guitars. It`s however, not what happens in most of the tracks but it`s always good to hear some high tuned guitars among storming death metal blasts and speed.
I was having hard times to listen to this album from the very start but they really made their music sounds better with next songs. In tracks like 6, 9, they show off their capabilities to play more hideous sounding metal that contains better-arranged death metal songs. These may mark their music direction in the future as something to do. I would like that. For now, they have too many minutes of music where are “no moments” and sometimes I just lost interest because the music and production of album is a bit lame. But I am not going to underestimate this band because with these few songs I mentioned before, there are signs that they can do very uncompromising death metal and slowly going stronger with it.
